Competition Details
Beach Touch Football Australia is pleased to have an event on:
- Saturday 6th April 2013
The event is open to any age group and any playing ability, the competition will have the following divisions:
- Men’s and Women’s Open
- Mixed Open
- Under 18 Boy’s and Girl’s
Games will generally commence at 9am and conclude at 5pm.
A presentation ceremony for everyone will be held afterwards at Dee Why Surf Club, with happy hour commencing and special food offers will be available.
The venue will be Dee Why Beach.
- Every team will play at least 5 games in the tournament.
- Each Team will have a maximum of 8 players.
- Each team will receive a limited edition Beach Touch ball.
- Each Team will receive a set of playing singlets.
- Each Player will receive free entry to the function on Saturday Night.

Players will be able to play in Mixed as well as single sex divisions.
Beach Touch will be grading the competition
Competition Format
- Round Games will be played on the Saturday morning, with all teams making a final series in the afternoon.
- The final Series will be contested in a Plate, Bowl and Championship format.
- Prize Money will be available to the Championship final series.
- Teams will only be allowed a maximum of 3 open’s internationals per team.
Cost: Teams $400 including GST (8 players)
(which is $50 a player). This cost covers the insurance,
affiliation fees, umpires, beach hire, amenities,support
services, singlets and playing ball.

- All registered players will be covered by Sportscover, details can be found by clicking here.
What to Bring
- The usual Beach items: Sunscreen, Water and so on, but items like Towels, hats, thongs will be available from the Merchandise Tent.
Transport
- Parking at the venue is going to be difficult, so it is best to car pool and use public transport.
